How do I install and start?

Install MailG from the Google Workspace Marketplace, open a spreadsheet with a recipient email column, then go to Extensions → MailG for Gmail → Start. Step-by-step guides are on docs.mailg.io.

Does MailG work with free Gmail and Google Workspace?

Yes — both personal Gmail and Google Workspace accounts work. MailG is independent of Google Workspace billing. Google’s own daily send limits still apply on top of your MailG plan quota.

How many emails can I send per day?

Free includes up to 50 emails per day. Paid plans raise your MailG quota (up to 1,500/day on Professional and Lifetime). Your effective volume is the lower of MailG’s daily quota and Gmail’s remaining send quota — free @gmail.com is often capped near ~500/day by Google.

How does MailG handle privacy?

Privacy is built in. MailG only asks for the minimum permissions it needs and does not require access to your full Gmail inbox or Drive files. Your recipient list stays in your Google Sheet.

How does MailG protect deliverability?

Emails are sent through your own Gmail account, so they look like normal correspondence rather than a third-party blast. MailG adds smart sending delays and pacing options so campaigns stay within healthy sending patterns.

Can I personalize emails from my spreadsheet?

Yes. Map sheet columns as merge tags so each row becomes a personalized message — including dynamic content in the body and support for CC/BCC columns. You can also use your own HTML templates on higher plans.

Can I schedule a campaign?

Yes. After you configure a campaign, send immediately or pick a future date and time. Scheduling is included on the free plan.

Is MailG really free to use?

Yes. The free plan is not time-limited and covers core mail merge, open tracking, and scheduling with a 50 emails/day quota. Upgrade when you need higher volume, advanced pacing, or to remove branding.

What data does MailG collect?

We keep it minimal: your account email, campaign metadata (such as volume and send dates), and basic open analytics. For paid plans we also store billing details needed for invoices.

I paid but still see Free limits. What should I check?

Checkout must use the same Google account email as the one signed into Sheets. After paying, reopen MailG so your quota refreshes. If it still looks wrong, email contact@mailg.io with both addresses.
